As you know, the results of the Adrenaline 2 trial have now been published. Here is a great resource published by Warwick University summarising the results.
This is sure to be a feature in future discussions on guidance from the Resuscitation Councils. It will also feature in education for Paramedics in Academic reading, research and ethics.
The Human Factors in Hazardous Environments course develops your knowledge and skills in the application of Human Factors (HF) principles in a variety of hazardous environments that you may encounter when providing care or rescue activities.
You learn through a mixture of online learning and a 5 day workshop where you will be “thrown in” to environments including:
- Water Rescue
- Working at Height
- Confined and Restricted Spaces
- Tactical Considerations
- Fire and Rescue Searches
We have a few spaces left on the course running 30th July – 3rd August but if you want to take part you’ll need to book by 20th July to allow time for the online activities.

ORMS gains centre approval for Difficult Airway Courses (DAC).
We are delighted to announce that we have recently gained centre approval to run Difficult Airway Courses for our clients and for open courses in Wales.
We recently ran our first course with Jamie and Scott from the Prehospital Care Consultancy and it was received well by all those that attended.
We will be running all three of the main courses regularly:
- DAC EMS
- DAC Essentials
- DAC Fundamentals
