First Bike on Scene

The Course

First Bike on Scene (FBoS) is a nationally accredited course offering essential lifesaving skills to motorcyclists.

The FBoS course has been specifically designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to deal with the initial management of a patient involved in a road traffic incident (motorcycle collision/crash).

Bikers will be encouraged to give casualties the necessary basic life support in the event of an incident whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive.

The course is owned and operated by ORMS and written in accordance with the latest evidence and procedures published by the Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC) Clinical Practice Guidelines; the same guidelines used by Paramedics across the UK.

This one-day course provides you with the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the event of an emergency.

Book a Place

You are more than welcome to attend a course run by ORMS, supported by a Welsh Government funded initiative supported by all North Wales Councils and North Wales Advanced Motorcyclists. Alternatively, you could attend one of our approved centres around the UK and Ireland.

To come to one of the ORMS courses in North Wales you don’t even have to be a motorcyclist, anyone can book a place and it only costs £10. Courses are run throughout the year on a number of dates:
