What you will learn
The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following
- The role of the first aider
- Managing an emergency
- Communication and casualty care
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Choking (adult)
- Defibrillator prompts and how to respond
Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer. Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2). Training can also be offered through the medium of Welsh. Please contact us for further information.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
Individual Students You can book onto an “Open” course delivered at venues across North Wales. For Prices view our online shop Open courses are subject to minimum numbers. If the course has insufficient numbers then the date may be changed. You will always receive at least 14 days notice if this occurs and will be offered a refund if the date is not convenient for you. Corporate Package Corporate pricing is available, we are able to deliver training at your own site (subject to suitability of the venue) or at our site. This enables you to book entire courses, secure dates that are convenient for your organisation and reduce your costs.
